Cloud Server is a kind of virtual server based on cloud computing technology, which is based on physical server and divides a physical server into multiple independent virtual servers through virtualization technology. Cloud server provides elastic and scalable computing resources, enabling users to flexibly configure and manage servers according to their needs.
Cloud servers work by pooling computing resources and dividing physical servers into multiple virtual servers through virtualization technology. Each virtual server has its own operating system, applications and resources, which are isolated from each other and do not interfere with each other. Users can create, start, stop, and manage cloud servers through the cloud service provider’s management console or API.
Users can easily increase or decrease the number and size of cloud servers based on actual demand, without having to purchase and deploy additional physical servers. This elasticity enables users to adjust server resources according to changes in traffic and load, improving performance and efficiency.
Cloud servers are typically deployed in distributed data centers with redundant hardware and network equipment to ensure stable operation in the event of hardware failure or network outage. If a physical server fails, the cloud platform will automatically migrate the affected virtual servers to other available physical servers, thus ensuring that users’ applications will not be interrupted.
Cloud servers also have a flexible billing model. Users can pay on demand and are billed based on the actual amount of resources used. This pay-as-you-go model allows users to plan their resources flexibly according to their needs, avoiding unnecessary waste of resources.
Cloud servers also provide rich management and monitoring tools to help users easily manage and monitor the operation status of the servers. Users can view the server’s performance indicators, monitoring alarms, log records and other information through the management console to find and solve problems in a timely manner.
