Today, we share a cross-border network optimization solution tailored for international logistics enterprises. An international logistics company approached us, seeking fast and stable access to Google, LinkedIn (international version), and other platforms to facilitate advertising, content creation, and overseas customer development. Additionally, the company required a network solution that was easy to deploy and manage, while enabling flexible scalability as its business grew.
To address these needs, we designed a solution integrating SD-WAN technology with international dedicated lines. This combination not only enables high-speed global network connectivity for accessing overseas platforms like Google and LinkedIn but also ensures secure data transmission.
We deployed SD-WAN devices at the client’s domestic headquarters, overseas branches, and data centers to manage and optimize network traffic. MPLS dedicated lines were used as international backbones to connect key nodes in North America, Europe, and other regions, ensuring low-latency and high-bandwidth transmission. Multiple point-of-presence (POP) nodes were deployed near target resources (e.g., Google and LinkedIn servers) to further optimize access speeds.
The SD-WAN device at the domestic headquarters connects directly to overseas POP nodes via international dedicated lines. Overseas branches can access the dedicated lines or local internet, forming a fully interconnected network architecture with the headquarters. An SD-WAN controller is deployed in the cloud to manage global networks and traffic scheduling.
SD-WAN’s intelligent routing dynamically selects optimal paths based on real-time network conditions (e.g., latency, packet loss) for accessing overseas resources. Through deep packet inspection (DPI), SD-WAN identifies critical traffic (e.g., Google, LinkedIn) and prioritizes bandwidth allocation to ensure superior user experience. Combined with multiple dedicated lines, SD-WAN achieves load balancing and automatic failover, guaranteeing 99.99% network availability.
We deployed MPLS dedicated lines connecting the domestic headquarters to key overseas nodes (e.g., the U.S. West Coast, Frankfurt, Europe). These lines provide fixed bandwidth for low latency and high stability. When integrated with SD-WAN, data security is ensured via encrypted tunnels.
Access to platforms like Google and LinkedIn increased by 50–70%, with page load times reduced to 1–2 seconds, greatly enhancing user experience.
Network availability reached 99.99%, with failover times of less than 1 second, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
